Weekly Focus #2: Your Roving Reporter

 

Audience:  Readers of the online Jeffersonian;  parents of JMS students and those students.

Word Count: 700 - 750

Find a “news story” around campus, including an interview with at least one person here they do not know or know well. In addition to at least one quote, the grade on this Focus will include your ability to mimic newspaper style in your paper. Also, be sure to find "both sides of the story”.  In particular, remember that a good newspaper story answers the questions of "who, what, why, when, where" in the very first sentence or short paragraph.
