Writing Focus #2:

“Atmospheres”

Due Beginning of Period, Thursday, September 14^th

Write a 500 word piece (of course typed, email draft to yourself, etc.) on any subject you wish. Include into the writing a significant number (minimum three) instances of music and/or sounds being involved in the scene. For instance, you might mention songs that are playing during a particular scene, or refer to the sounds of things surrounding the characters during another scene. Try to integrate the music/sounds into the story in a way that fits and helps the story or subject.

Please put in bold any music/sound mentions. Also, put the total word count for the piece at the end of both your draft and final.
